1. Production Planning:
Analyze customer orders, demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
Develop daily/weekly/monthly production plans to ensure on-time delivery.
Adjust and reschedule plans when there are customer or production changes.
2. Material Coordination:
Monitor stock levels and calculate material requirements.
Work with
Purchasing to ensure timely material supply.
Resolve issues related to shortages or excess inventory.
3. Production Control:
Track actual production progress against the plan.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to solve problems.
Provide updates and report to management/customers.
4. Cross-Department Collaboration:
Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Sales/Customer Service.
Ensure on-time delivery and optimize cost & efficiency.
