PLM Systems Manager

SHOEfabrik is an international footwear development, sourcing and manufacturing company.
For more than 20 years, we have worked with leading global footwear brands.
We are now investing in better systems, better data and better ways of working.
Centric PLM is a major part of this work.
We are looking for someone who can become our internal Centric expert and, over time, take ownership of the system across SHOEfabrik.
This is not simply a PLM administration job.
You will help us implement the system, train our teams, improve how people use it and make sure the information inside it is accurate and useful.
You will also help us turn that information into better reports, dashboards and business decisions.
What you will do
You will:
• Help manage the implementation of Centric PLM.
• Coordinate actions between SHOEfabrik teams and Centric Software.
• Track open issues, changes, decisions and deadlines.
• Support system testing and new releases.
• Train users and provide day-to-day support.
• Create clear training material.
• Improve system views, forms and workflows.
• Help teams use Centric correctly.
• Monitor data quality and identify recurring problems.
• Build useful reports and dashboards.
• Use Excel, Power BI and other tools to analyse PLM data.
• Help management see delays, exceptions, bottlenecks and other important information.
• Explore practical ways to use AI to analyse exports, summarise information and identify patterns.
• Continue to improve the system after the main implementation is complete.
As your knowledge grows, you will become the main internal owner of Centric PLM.
You will work with footwear data
You will learn how information moves through the SHOEfabrik product creation process.
This can include:
• Styles and seasons.
• Colourways.
• Materials and components.
• Product specifications.
• Samples.
• Costing.
• Development status.
• Suppliers and factories.
• Approvals and changes.
• Key development dates.
You will work with Product Creation, Development, Engineering, Costing, Sourcing, Manufacturing and management.
