ILA Vietnam is looking for 01 Preschool Academic Manager to join ILO Academy. The Academic Manager will be a passionate leader who oversees our team of Teachers at five ILO campuses.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher (Bachelor's/MA in education or early childhood education preferred).
• Cambridge CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or equivalent
• Cambridge Delta, Trinity DipTESOL, MA or equivalent higher qualification in ELT. Partial completion or intention to complete will be considered.

Skills

• Native-speaker level of English (IELTS 7.5 or higher)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a client focused approach
• Confident and talented in speaking to parents in individual meetings and at larger events.
  
• Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Dynamic 'can do' approach to work.
• Ability to develop and adapt materials to suit the needs of teachers and their students.
• Demonstrated history of working successfully and positively in a cross cultural environment.
• Confidence to take initiative and work autonomously.

Experience

• 2+ years as a teacher/senior teacher/academic manager in an early childhood education environment such as an international preschool with both (preferably) teaching and management experience.
• 2+ years of ELT management/teaching experience with very young learners will be considered, depending on overall quality of applicant, quality of industry experience and commitment to further certified training on Early Childhood Education.
