1. Role of the Pricing Department
The Pricing Department acts as a bridge between the Sales team and Carriers / Co-loaders, responsible for developing and managing freight rates to ensure market competitiveness while optimizing the company's profitability.
2. Key Responsibilities
  • Freight Rate Development and Management
    Collect and update freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents.
    Establish and maintain rate sheets based on trade lanes and cargo types.
  • Sales Support
    Provide accurate and timely quotations to the Sales team.
    Advise on suitable transportation solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Cost and Profit Optimization
    Analyze transportation costs.
    Propose competitive pricing strategies while maintaining company profitability.
  • Supplier Relationship Management
    Negotiate freight rates and maintain relationships with major shipping lines such as Maersk, CMA CGM, COSCO Shipping, Evergreen Marine, and Ocean Network Express (ONE).
    Coordinate with LCL co-loaders for consolidation services.
  • Pricing Risk Control
    Ensure quotations include all applicable surcharges and additional costs.
    Minimize pricing errors that may negatively impact the company's profitability.

4. Requirements
  • Bachelor's or College degree in International Economics, International Business, International Trade, Logistics, Transportation, or other related fields with solid knowledge of sea freight and export operations.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Experience in the following tasks:
    Requesting freight rates from shipping lines / co-loaders / agents.
    Preparing quotations for Sales teams or customers.
    Calculating cost and basic profit margins for shipments.
  • Experience in Sea Freight (FCL/LCL) is required.
  • Knowledge of Air Freight is an advantage.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, flexible, detail-oriented, and responsible.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Eager to learn and able to adapt quickly.
  • English proficiency in communication, reading, and email correspondence.
  • Clear career development goals and a strong commitment to building a long-term career in the logistics industry.

  • Monday to Friday: Morning 08:00 AM to 12:00PM, Afternoon 01:30 PM to 05:30 PM.
  • Saturday: Morning 08:00 AM to 12:00PM.

  • G2 Floor, 51 Quan Nhan Street, Nhan Chinh Province, Thanh Xuan District, Ha Noi.
