1. Sourcing, Procurement & Supplier Management
- Manage the full procurement cycle, from requirement gathering and sourcing to negotiation, supplier selection, and contract/PO execution.
- Develop and implement sourcing approaches for indirect procurement categories, including operational expenses, marketing, facilities, projects, store expansion, leasing-related requirements, and other corporate needs.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and service conditions to optimize overall business value.
- Monitor supplier performance, service quality, delivery timelines, and cost effectiveness.
- Work with relevant teams to ensure procurement plans are aligned with business and expansion timelines.
2. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Finance, Marketing, Operations, Project, Leasing, and other functions to understand requirements and provide appropriate procurement solutions.
- Advise stakeholders on sourcing options, supplier selection, commercial considerations, and procurement processes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support procurement activities for new store openings, expansion projects, and other business initiatives.
3. Team Management & Capability Building
- Manage day-to-day priorities and workload within the Procurement team.
- Coach and develop team members to strengthen procurement knowledge, commercial capabilities, and stakeholder management skills.
- Provide guidance and support on complex sourcing and negotiation activities.
- Contribute to building a more structured and scalable procurement function as the business grows.
4. Process Improvement, Compliance & Risk Management
- Review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and commercial effectiveness.
- Ensure
purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, approval procedures, and governance standards.
- Identify potential procurement and supplier-related risks and work with stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
- Support the implementation of procurement best practices and standardized ways of working.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
- 7+ years of procurement experience, preferably in FMCG, or fast-paced business environments.
- Strong experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple procurement categories.
- Previous experience in team leadership or people development is preferred.
- Experience supporting store expansion, projects, or business growth is an advantage.
- Strong commercial, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- English: Professional working proficiency.
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and ERP/procurement systems.
- Hands-on, accountable, adaptable, and commercially minded.
Willing to travel for supplier meetings or site visits when required.
