Product Manager

Job description

- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Become an expert with respect to the competition.
- Translate business strategy into product strategy and roadmap.
- Represent the customer within the development process.
- Represent the company by reaching out to customers, soliciting and gathering feedback, pain points and requirements.
- Write high-level requirements - typically as user stories and epics.
- Articulate the product vision and make sure the delivered features are aligned with it
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
- Prioritize tasks based on business and customer impact
- Work closely with engineering by participate in daily meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives, to ensure quick time-to-market and optimal resources
- Drive action throughout the organization, to mitigate blocked resources
- Plan and carry out product launches, including working with public relations team, sales, marketing and other product management team members.
- Support the Sales and Marketing with insights on key differentiators and answering any questions they may have
- Perform product demos and insights to stakeholders
- Manage product profitability and commercial success
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Deliver a monthly revenue forecast
- Propose an overall budget to ensure success
- Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings.

Request

- Good written and verbal communication skills, Japanese N1+, English B2+
- Teamwork skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Prioritize
- Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager in managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Proven success in defining and launching a product.
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
