Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Execution
• Set departmental objectives and develop production action plans to achieve business targets.
• Execute and monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production plans to ensure production, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.
• Review production performance and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and productivity.
2. Production Cost & Resource Management
• Prepare and control the annual production budget and manufacturing costs.
• Optimize the utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Manage departmental assets and production resources effectively.
3. Team Leadership & People Management
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and operators to achieve departmental objectives.
• Manage recruitment, training, workforce planning, job rotation, and employee development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend promotion and development plans.
4. Process Improvement & Quality Management
• Establish, review, and improve production procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with 5S, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and company policies.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Line Balancing, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
5. Production Monitoring & Reporting
• Monitor production efficiency, capacity utilization, and operational KPIs.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production reports.
• Analyze production data and recommend improvement actions to achieve production targets.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate with Planning, QA/QC, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse,
Purchasing, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Communicate production status, resource requirements, and operational issues, and support cross-functional improvement projects.
7. Other Responsibilities
• Perform other duties assigned by the Production Manager.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• At least 1-2 years in a supervisory, team leader, or assistant production management role.
• Experience in:
• Managing production teams and shift operations.
• Achieving production targets for output, quality, and delivery.
• Coordinating with Planning, QA/QC, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Engineering.
• Improving processes, reducing waste, and enhancing productivity.
• Handling operational issues, downtime, and quality deviations effectively.
