1. Job Objective To ensure the supply of raw materials, goods, and services of the correct quality, quantity, and timeliness at optimal cost to support the company's production and export activities.
2. Main Responsibilities
Planning &
Purchasing Requests Receiving purchase requests from departments (production, warehouse, engineering, etc.) Checking inventory and production plans to create appropriate procurement plans Monitoring material consumption for export orders Sourcing & Evaluating Suppliers Searching for and selecting domestic and international suppliers Comparing quotations, negotiating prices and trade terms Evaluating the capacity, quality, and delivery time of suppliers
Purchasing Execution Preparing purchase orders (PO) and sales contracts Monitoring delivery progress and ensuring on-time delivery Coordinating the handling of arising issues (delays, shortages, quality defects, etc.)
Cost & Quality Control Ensuring procurement at optimal costs while maintaining quality standards Coordinating with QC/QA to inspect the quality of incoming raw materials Monitoring price fluctuations
3. Job Responsibilities
Documentation & Payment Prepare purchase documents and records (contracts, invoices, packing lists, etc.) Coordinate with accounting to make payments to suppliers Maintain records according to regulations
Internal Coordination Work with production, import/export, and warehouse departments Support in handling issues related to export orders
4. Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience Graduated from College/University in Economics, Foreign Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, etc. Experience in procurement, preferably in the manufacturing/export industry
Skills Strong negotiation skills Price analysis and cost management skills Communication and teamwork skills Proficient in Excel and ERP software
Foreign Languages English or Chinese proficiency (reading and understanding contracts, communicating with foreign suppliers)
