QC Lead Games

Your main responsibilities would include leading a talented mobile testing team, establishing new testing processes, and improving on existing ones, working with the production team to determine testing strategies and improve efficiency by producing relevant metrics and tools.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Ensure the quality of the games/platform update and deployment cycle with dedication and precision;
• Design and prepare test cases;
• Monitor and enhance QC velocity through workload and product features pain points analysis (by creating dashboards) and work proactively to automatize tests and processes as much as possible;
• Keep the QC process, documentation and devices available up to date;
• Stay in close touch with the Ubisoft Release Management Team to remain at the glance of Ubisoft expertise in term of uses, process and tools;
• Coordinate, plan and budget external QC teams support;
• Produce build/release notes and other core QC documentation for external consumption;
• Act as key point of contact for external QC teams, driving the QC vision and ensuring resources needed are available;
• Ensure platform holder requirements are met by performing early investigation of planned implementation details and working with the development team to suggest changes required;
• Proactive attitude, able to identify issues and provide solutions;
• Understand the project's vision so as to intervene effectively when defining the scope and during development;
• Manage internal and external QC team resources planning to provide clear vision of your team workload and availability;
• Ensure that the test teams have the necessary technical support (software, hardware, documentation, feedbacks);
• Have in-depth knowledge of the content of the deliverables;
• Ensure that the actual advancement of the deliverables truly reflects what was set out in the planning stages;
• Identify, validate, and communicate the resource and skills needs of the team;
• Carry out and/or validate the team's performance assessments;
• Identify and manage bad performance and/or interpersonal conflicts;
• Participate in identifying the technical training, management, and team needs;
• Efficiently communicate with team members so that they are informed of current projects and the advancement of the work.

• 2+ years' experience in consumer software quality control testing
• Experience with automation testing is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of bug life cycle
• Ability to operate Android, iOS and social H5 games & platforms without assistance
• Excellent planning and reporting skills
• Top notch communication skills, ability to identify and defuse stressful situations
• High flexibility and adaptability to new situations
• Ability to build collaborative spirit within the team
