This role is open to experienced QA/QC professionals who are ready to move into management. The Role
You will own product quality at our factory, from incoming materials through to final shipment. You will lead the QA/QC team, set and enforce quality standards, and be the main quality contact for customers, auditors and management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the QA/QC team across incoming material inspection, inline and end-of-line inspection, and final audits.
Establish, maintain and improve quality procedures and inspection standards in line with customer requirements.
Inspect and evaluate fabrics, laces, elastics and trims, and resolve material quality issues with suppliers.
Review pre-production samples and run pre-production meetings with production and merchandising teams.
Analyse defects and returns, lead root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare for and manage customer audits and third-party inspections.
Report quality performance to management.
Work closely with customers' QA teams,
merchandisers, production and suppliers to resolve issues quickly.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any field.
3+ years of QA/QC experience in garment manufacturing. Management experience is not required; supervisory or team-lead experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of garment construction and production processes. Experience in lingerie, swimwear or intimate apparel is a strong advantage.
Solid understanding of fabrics and materials, including knits, stretch fabrics, lace and elastics, and their testing requirements.
Familiarity with EU and US quality standards and inspection methods (e.g. AQL).
Able to work in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment and collaborate with many parties at once.
Good English communication, both written and spoken. This is essential.
Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a bonus.
Proficient in MS Office.
