NEFAB VIETNAM IS LOOKING TO HIRE Quality Engineer - Safety and Quality System for Packaging products production.
2. JOB SUMMARY
To be responsible for the EHS system and execute the EHS system to make sure whole site daily activities to be running smoothly; manage contractor/vendor safety and correct site unsafe behaviours or working environment. Communicate with related local government departments to ensure no incompliance with local EHS laws.
Manage and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, UN and FSC for all sites in Nefab Vietnam
3. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintenance as well as continue improvement QMS & EMS system (ISO9001, ISO14001) and ISO 45001, UN, FSC, work safety standardization system.
- Cooperate and support internally to complete customer audit.
- Ensure customer audit findings are closed in time.
- Act as the safety specialist role
- Establish and maintenance as well as continue improvement Safety management system.
- Organize EHS activities on site
- Organize ERT regular training and simulation drill on site.
- EHS assessment to comply with legal requirement.
- Handle RoHS issues (report and others)
- Other tasks assigned by manager.
4. WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Office working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Plant working conditions include noise plus/minus 85 dB and some dust. Personal Protection Equipment is provided.
*** ACCOUNTABILITY
- To perform QA department daily activities for example of inspection of purchased parts, subassemblies
or finished products according to the predefined quality criteria.
- Responsible for the management of quality assurance team including but not limited to identifying and
establishing quality assurance standards.
*** WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Office working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Plant working conditions include noise plus/minus 85 dB and some dust. Personal Protection
Equipment is provided.
*** HEALTH AND SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL OBLIGATIONS
1. HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Abide by Company's Health & Safety regulations.
- Identify unsafe work habits, report, and work with Production Manager to implement any changes
accordingly. Work with Production Manager to track safety hours worked without incident and update reporting boards.
2. ENVIRONMENT
- Qualified as internal ISO 14001 auditor
- Competence/ experience in Environmental Regulations

- Experience developing and implementing a QMS/EMS/OHS
- Experience in Automotive industry or Packaging industry (corrugated, Thermoforming, foam, wooden or plywood) or related to packaging industry is seen as a plus.
5.3. LANGUAGES
Fluent in Vietnamese and English communication
6. SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- Good written and verbal English skills are mandatory
- Highly motivated, independent individual who is a team player
- Good trouble shooting skills
- Document Control System (such as MasterControl) experience is a plus
- ERP experience is a plus
- Excellent office software skills (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
