Overall job purpose
As a Sales Engineer at Kingspan Light + Air, you'll play a pivotal role in understanding our product offering and translating them into tailored solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities include cultivating strong client relationships, assessing technical requirements, and ensuring commercial success.
The Sales Engineer works closely with other departments, such as product management, factories and logistic teams. The employee is successful when our distribution partners and direct customers are satisfied with our Customer Service and deliver continuous sales growth with our partners.
Scope of duties
• Assist in imparting product knowledge to both distributors and direct customers.
• Provide technical advice and support to distributors, architects, consultants, and contractors.
• Managing incoming price/technical enquiries and converting them into quotations for our customers.
• Ownership of the Quotation/Work Order pipeline, updating outstanding quotations with Win Chance, Order to be Won, Sales Forecast etc., including timely quotation follow-up with customers
• Looking for business development opportunities with new and existing representatives/distributors.
• Review and managing purchase orders from customers.
• Responsible for communication with teams overseas for new project/product on quotation, design, materials sourcing, production, etc.
• Meet sales targets and develop new business within the assigned territory.
• Regularly update and review sales performance reports with distributors.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and focus on must-win opportunities.

Yêu cầu
Competencies
• Less than 1 year work experience in a Customer Service, Technical Service or Internal Sales function with Sales experience and distributor management in the construction industry
• An analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, is able to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
• Customer first attitude
• Bachelor/Master engineering degree,
• Knowledge in ACMV, M&E, Smoke control system or system will be advantage
• Knowledge in architectural façade or skylight work will be an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills and comfortable working in customer-facing situations
• Solid computer skills, including a good understanding of MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
• Being able to read, understand and translate CAD drawings used in the construction industry
