Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager - Cashew Kernels who will be responsible for driving global sales and market expansion of processed cashew kernels, with a focus on building a robust customer base and distribution network. Leveraging expertise in cashew supply and demand dynamics, this role oversees cashew kernel sales from Vietnam and other origins, while managing the inherent risks of the cashew business. Sales Manager will also lead efforts in developing market opportunities within the sustainable and organic cashew segment, building a client base that aligns with these growing industry trends. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cashew nuts/Edible nuts business, proven experience in B2B and B2C sales, and a strong network in the same commodity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Brand Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns, and represent the brand at trade shows and industry events.
• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on cashew nut products, quality standards, and health benefits to educate clients and support marketing efforts.
• Customer Feedback: Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve products and services and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Drive the trade and distribution of processed cashew kernels sourced from Vietnam and other key origins, leveraging both in-house production and global supplier partnerships.
• Understand the supply chain and market potential for sustainable and organic cashew kernels, actively building a client base focused on these high-value segments.
• Develop and nurture a strong customer base for the cashew nuts segment, identifying new market opportunities and building long-term relationships.
• Establish and manage an effective distribution network for cashew kernels, optimizing market reach and efficiency.
• Oversee the supply and demand dynamics of cashew nuts from Vietnam and globally, aligning sales strategies to meet market demands.
• Manage and navigate the complexities of import, export, and merchanting trade operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency across regions.
• Understanding customer orientation, problem solving, quality and demand requirements
• Solving quality problems at destination
• Possess in-depth operational expertise and proactively manage risks associated with cashew kernel business operations.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and handle contract negotiations to maximize profitability.

Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Experience: 7+ years of sales experience in the cashew nuts commodity, FMCG, or snack industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role..
• Skills:
o Good command on English language is mandatory
o Strong sales and negotiation skills.
o Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
o Ability to analyze data and sales metrics to drive informed decision-making.
o Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and other sales management tools.
• Network: Established network in the food or FMCG industry is highly desirable.
• Personal Traits: Self-motivated, target-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and other business needs.
