MISSION OF THE POSITION
The mission of the Sales Manager - Vietnam is to drive sustainable sales growth and strengthen FFX's market position within the imported fresh fruit industry in Vietnam. The role is responsible for developing long-term commercial programs with retail, wholesale, and distribution customers, ensuring consistent execution, stable volumes, and profitable growth. The position will act as a key link between customers, sourcing, and operations teams to deliver high service levels, strong customer relationships, and market-driven commercial strategies aligned with FFX's regional objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Commercial Strategy & Sales Execution
• Develop and execute the national sales strategy aligned with FFX's growth objectives in Vietnam.
• Manage and grow retail, wholesale, and distribution channels across imported fresh fruit categories.
• Develop seasonal sales programs with customers to ensure stable volume growth and margin performance.
• Coordinate closely with sourcing and operations teams to align supply availability with customer demand.
• Identify new business opportunities, channel expansion opportunities, and strategic partnerships within the market.
• Ensure strong execution of sales plans, pricing strategies, and customer programs.
2. Account Management
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key retail, wholesale, and distribution customers.
• Lead seasonal negotiations, demand planning, promotional activities, and commercial agreements.
• Monitor program execution to ensure compliance with service levels, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to monitor satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Inventory Management, and Quality teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor customer payment performance and support collection processes when required.
3. Financial Management
• Support and contribute to the preparation of the annual financial budget and sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with company targets.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Oversee pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness while ensuring sustainable profitability and margin performance.
• Ensure commercial decisions are aligned with the company's financial and strategic objectives.
4. Market Intelligence
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, import activities, and competitor developments within Vietnam.
• Provide regular market feedback and commercial insights to regional sourcing and management teams.
• Identify category opportunities and recommend strategies to strengthen FFX's market positioning.
5. Sales Performance Monitoring
• Define and monitor KPIs including sales volume, gross margin, forecast accuracy, customer performance, and program execution.
• Prepare regular commercial and sales performance reports for management.
• Propose corrective actions and commercial initiatives to improve business performance and profitability.
Reporting Line
• Reports directly to the Managing Director.
Internal Coordination
• Work in close collaboration with Inventory Management, Quality, Finance, Operations, and Procurement teams to ensure efficient execution of customer programs and supply chain performance.
PRODUCT CATEGORIES
Categories include apples, citrus, grapes, berries, and other imported fresh fruit categories.
Yêu cầu
• Minimum 5 years of experience in imported fresh produce sales within Vietnam.
• Strong network and relationships within retail, wholesale, and distribution channels.
• Experience managing seasonal programs and imported fruit categories.
• Proven capability to manage and develop a significant commercial portfolio within the imported fresh produce industry.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Self-driven, commercially oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
• Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Valid driving license.
• Fluent in both Vietnamese and English.
• Experience working with international suppliers and import programs is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel as required.
