Reporting Line: Functional reporting to SAP HQ (Global IT / SAP Team)
Position Summary
The SAP Systems Analyst is responsible for providing functional support, analysis, and continuous improvement of SAP systems used at Ajax Systems Vietnam. The role focuses on L1/L2 functional support, business process analysis, and solution design across core SAP modules supporting manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain operations. This position works closely with local business users and the global SAP HQ team to ensure system stability, process alignment, and effective SAP utilization.
Responsibilities:
Providing support to users of an in-house ERP system (based on the 1C platform)
Providing L1/L2 functional support across SAP modules (PP, PP-DS, DMC, SD, TM), including incident analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Performing configuration adjustments, testing, and supporting enhancements within the assigned SAP modules.
Analyzing user requests, identifying root causes, and proposing functional solutions.
Conducting requirement gathering sessions with business users and documenting functional requirements.
Maintaining master data templates, supporting data migration activities, and ensuring data consistency within SAP.
Analyzing and documenting business processes related to production planning, execution, logistics, transportation, and order management.
Preparing functional specifications for development and decomposing requirements into User Stories.
Proposing improvements to existing business processes and SAP configurations.
Supporting the design and development of functional and organizational models in SAP.
Preparing and executing test cases in SAP test environments (unit, integration, regression testing).
Supporting cutover activities and coordinating tasks required for SAP go-live and post-go-live stabilization.
Participating in SAP system enhancements, upgrades, and rollout projects.
Preparing user documentation, standards, and training materials, and delivering user training sessions.
Yêu cầu
Strong knowledge and understanding of user support standards
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Economics, Business, or related fields.
At least 4 years of experience as a SAP Functional Consultant or System Analyst in SAP implementation or automation projects
Experience in documenting business requirements and designing functional solutions is an advantage.
Hands-on experience or functional knowledge of SAP modules: PP, PP-DS, DMC, SD, TM.
Strong understanding of manufacturing, production planning, logistics, and supply chain processes.
Experience in functional testing, data migration support, and system stabilization.
Familiarity with Agile concepts (User Stories, backlog, testing cycles) is preferred.
High sense of responsibility, ownership, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
English level: Intermediate or higher (spoken and written)
