You will be part of our Operational Care Team to add your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Operational Excellence
You are responsible for providing leadership + direction to the warehouse team by directing a diverse in-house + subcontracted workforce to manage the throughput of our customer's products + creating a safe working environment
You will achieve this by careful planning + coordination with internal a+ external stakeholders along with proactive inventory and resource management:
- To be responsible for the overall performance of the allocated Container Freight Station (CFS) site including warehouse operations, office operations + information systems.
- To oversee the selection, professional development, + motivation of all warehouse employees.
- To closely monitor the performance of any sub-contractors.
- To plan, direct + implement warehouse operations, administrative + customer service support to meet prescribed productivity + service goals.
- To ensure storage utilization within warehouses, especially during peak seasons, is correctly managed.
- To ensure that all internal + external health + safety requirements are understood + followed at all times.
