If you have years of international footwear business experience and understand global brands, product development, and the footwear supply chain, we want to offer you more than another role focused on taking orders, quoting prices, and following up on production.
We're looking for a Senior Account Manager with strong commercial awareness, product understanding, and international communication skills to help performance, outdoor, and lifestyle footwear brands in the U.S. and Europe compete and grow in their markets.
Here, sales is more than being the point of contact between the customer and the factory.
You'll be involved in product strategy, development requirements, costing, and supply chain planning, working closely with design, development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to turn business opportunities into products, orders, and long-term brand partnerships.
Why Join Us?
Move Beyond Order Management into Real
Business DevelopmentYour role isn't simply to maintain existing accounts.
You'll understand the challenges each brand is trying to solve and identify how our product, technical, and supply chain capabilities can create real value for them.
Work Directly with U.S. & European Brand Decision-Makers
You'll communicate directly with Founders, CEOs, Product, Design, Development, and Sourcing teams, participating throughout the journey from initial business discussions to product development and commercialization.
Understand the Product, Not Just the Price
We believe great footwear account managers need to understand the product.
You'll work closely with footwear
designers,
developers, material specialists, and engineers, building a strong understanding of Performance and Outdoor Footwear, materials, manufacturing processes, costing, and commercialization.
When a client brings you a challenge, your role isn't simply to pass it on to the factory. You'll understand the issue, organize the right resources, and work with the team to develop a solution.
Build Accounts, Not Just Manage Them
You'll participate in new brand development, client research, proposals, sampling projects, commercial negotiations, and partnership development.
From the first development project to a long-term partnership, you'll have the opportunity to see-and influence-how an account grows.
Build Your Own International Business Impact
Compared with highly specialized roles in larger organizations, you'll have greater account ownership.
The relationships you build, the commercial decisions you make, and the projects you deliver will directly contribute to the company's growth-and become part of your own professional track record.
What You'll Do
Manage day-to-day business with U.S. and European performance, outdoor, and lifestyle footwear brands
Build long-term relationships with both internal teams and client-side Product, Design, Development, Sourcing, and Management teams
Understand brand and product needs and turn business opportunities into footwear development projects and production orders
Coordinate internal design, development, engineering, materials, and supply chain resources to move projects forward
Participate in quotations, cost analysis, MOQ, payment terms, and commercial negotiations
Manage client relationships and commercial outcomes from Development and Commercialization through Production
Support overseas client visits and work with management on key-account strategies and annual business growth plans
What We're Looking For
8+ years of international business experience in footwear, sporting goods, or related industries
Experience in Business Development, Account Management, Merchandising, or servicing U.S. and European brand accounts
Strong understanding of footwear product development and supply chain processes, from Development and Costing through Production
Strong business English communication skills, with the ability to independently handle client meetings, presentations, emails, and commercial discussions
Strong independent thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills
Genuine curiosity about brands, products, and markets, rather than simply executing client requests
Bachelor's degree or above
Overseas education, international work experience, or experience working with international performance/outdoor brands is a plus
Experience with Performance Footwear, Outdoor, Running, Lifestyle, or Technical Footwear is highly preferred
We're Looking for Your Next Chapter
If you already know how to manage a footwear account, maybe the next stage of your career isn't simply handling more orders or managing more accounts.
Maybe it's starting to ask:
How can I become the key Asia-based partner for U.S. and European brands?
Can I truly understand a brand's business and product challenges?
Can I turn an initial business conversation into a partnership that lasts for years?
Can I move beyond being an account contact and become a trusted Footwear Business Partner?
If that sounds like the next step you're looking for, we'd like to meet you.
