Senior Automation Test Engineer

This position will join and perform testing to help minimize the risk of product software errors by creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test procedures, to deliver the best possible software products.

Responsibilities and Duties

● Design, execute and write clean, high-quality scripts that test product functionality automatically

● Develop the best automation solutions based on the clients' requirements.

● Create or update automation test guideline

● Conduct various tests for systems, networks, applications, databases, softwares

● Responsible for end-to-end test and release of new features with high standards for quality

● Guarantee quality of products to decrease the maximum number of bugs after releases

● Participate in estimation, planning and provide necessary QA/test recommendations

● Recruit members and mentor them to enhance their testing related skills.

● Identify specific cases that should be automated and discuss them with manual QA engineers

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, PMs ...) to find ways on how automation can improve the workflow

● Participate in brainstorms to come up with new ideas and designs that improve existing features

● Bachelor of Information Technology or related fields

● At least 3 years experience in developing and implementing automated test cases for web applications

● At least 3 years of experience with automated testing tools, API testing tools, continuous integration tools

● Intermediate level in using specific programming languages (Ruby, Python ...)

● Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, the ability to see the root of the problem and come up with efficient, creative, and cost-effective solutions

● Experience debugging and capturing backend failures and network issues

● Experience in stress testing or performance testing

● Be active at work, withstand high pressure

● Experience in a Linux environment

● Good analytical and communication skills (both English and Vietnamese)

● Demonstrated competence and ability to be self-motivated when analyzing problems
