Senior Business Analyst Agile, SQL

Dtravel ( is a community-owned and governed platform for the home-sharing economy. Think of it as Airbnb with lower fees, built to benefit hosts and guests instead of a corporation that prioritizes shareholder interests above those of its community.

Dtravel is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), which means that decisions to guide the network are controlled by community members. Members are people who hold the TRVL token. All revenue from Dtravel bookings is funneled back into the Community Treasury and Protection Fund, which exist for the benefit of hosts and guest

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring the requirements are fully understood and specified in a manner that will enable full understanding from the development team. Lead, coordinate and establish requirements definition and use-case modeling by outlining the system's functionality and delimiting the system; for example, establishing what actors and use cases exist, and how they interact, including:

• Gather business and system requirements
• Assist Product Owner in defining requirements and suggest ideas
• Create SRS (System Requirement Spec), Feature List (if needed), UC list and UC detail, GBR (General Business Rules) and wire frame for complex UCs (if needed)
• Work with UI for UI design and screen mock up
• Reviewing and providing the appropriate feedback on the final implementation of the user interface
• Assist PO on project scope, estimation and planning
• Assist PO on requirement sign off process
• Assist PO in managing project change requests
• Work with QC to verify that all requirements of the system are fulfilled by the implementation in the traceability manner among requirements, CR and implementation
• Support UAT in testing, verifying bugs/issues with client
• Review materials (SRS, UC, etc.) from other BA - Conduct BA new hired training.

• Bachelor degree preferably in Computer Science or Business Information System
• Must have experience working in Agile (SCRUM, TDD) user stories and experience working with stakeholders at all levels in an Agile environment
• Strong skills with UML and BPMN
• Must have experience in business and systems designs such as data migration rules, business rules, wireframes
• Good knowledge of REST API, JSON, Postman
• Obtaining IT knowledge-base
• Excellent communication skill both English, Vietnamese and interpersonal skill
  
• At least 5 years of working experience of which 3 years in analyzing requirements
• Good knowledge of databases such as database schema and SQL, NoSQL query
• Knowledge of testing approaches and techniques
• Specific business domain knowledge is a plus (Hospitality, eCommerce)
• General understanding and experience of business processes as well as an interest to understand a broad range of business models and needs
• A proactive can-do attitude and a strong commitment to a deadline
