Senior Business Analyst

Business Growth & Strategy team functions as an in-house consulting and project team for Department Head, providing business insights and analysis to support high-level management in exploring new opportunities and formulating business model and strategy.

This role will pay attention to helping Marketing and Product team to better understand our market(s) and target audiences by collecting and transforming data from analytics, game data and research into insights and action plans that can drive publishing business with quick reaction to market changes and reach business targets.

This role will also work closely with all cross functions to make meaningful insights & analysis into actionable plan.

Job Description:

• Deliver market intelligence, market outlook & conduct feasible case studies for recommendation;
• Collect information, work both independently and collaboratively with other teams to track business performance and marketing effectiveness, and integrate with other key performance metrices to conclude on action plans;
• Monitor business performance (KPI), suggest and propose suitable events or campaigns to enhance business performance that meet the business strategy;
• Monitor competitors' activities and performance;
• Provide user research & explore user behavior;
• Collaborate with other functions on strategic projects to deep dive players' minds and give inputs on how to win;
• Analyse internal data and generate insights about different players types;
• Support business requests by either available resources or self conducted research;
• Provide actionable insights to improve marketing channels effectiveness, campaign optimisation, users growth & segmentation, etc.

• Proven work experience as data analyst, market research or similar role from 3 to 4 years of experience, technology experience is a plus;
• Knowledge of relevant tools and techniques, basic SQL is a plus;
• Solid computer skills, especially Google Spreadsheet, Excel, Powerpoint, Tableau;
• Work with open minded, dedication and enthusiasm;
• Structured thought process, good analytical & critical thinking a goal-oriented attitude and problem-solving skills;
• Capable of working with different products and projects;
• Thrives working in a fast-paced and agile environment;
• English reading and written: intermediate level ( previous experience required)
