We are currently on the search for a B2B marketing content creator with social media knowledge to join our PropertyGuru Data Sense team in Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Content Writer would be responsible for creating valuable content across a diverse range of B2B audiences in the property industry through a wide media spectrum, including marketing white papers, case studies, blog posts, websites, and more. This role reports directly to the Content Marketing Lead.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a gift for persuasive business writing. You're passionate about research and analytics, and distilling complex information into clear, engaging benefits for the readers. Having a portfolio of B2B writing would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Plan and create impactful content that engages B2B customers and decision-makers to drive awareness, interest, and consideration.
Develop engaging Signature Reports that will be invaluable to the target audience segment and quoted by media outlets to drive thought leadership perception in the category.
Conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types to deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers, and increase conversion.
Produce conversion and engagement-focused copy to accepted standards and established brand style guidelines for content, style, accuracy, and cohesiveness for a variety of marketing assignments including emails, landing pages, blog posts, product fact sheets, case studies, articles, and marketing collaterals.
Collaborate on the creation of content strategies and editorial calendars.
Work closely with subject-matter experts to understand products, market challenges, and buyer needs.
Proofread and copyedit all external-facing collaterals and content to ensure proper grammar, punctuation, voice, and tone.

Requirements:

Degree in journalism or any related marketing field with 3+ years of editorial content creation.
Strong track record of building engaging content in multiple formats.
Knowledge of web writing and SEO best practices.
Creative and innovative thinker who can proactively come up with story ideas and manage content projects from strategy to execution (with minimal supervision).
Meticulous English language skills, with a keen eye for detail, when it comes to punctuation, spelling, grammar, and syntax, with proven copyediting and proofreading experience.
Capacity to multitask, balance deadlines, and reliably deliver high-quality content.
Self-motivated, articulate, and able to inspire the audience.
Added advantage:

Experience in B2B content writing.
Experience or exposure to the property industry.
Experience in content strategy - i.e., planning and creating content that attracts readers and engages them.
