As a senior DBA, you will take ownership of our SQL Server and mySQL High Availability environments and Postgres data stores. Our systems handle a massive amount of traffic, with more than 5 million customers visiting our website each month, so data is critical.

We have a significant presence in both AWS and GCP, so opportunities exist in future for cross training in the role in other areas such as dev ops or Data engineering.

What we are looking for

• Experience with high volume transactional databases
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role
• 5+ years SQL Server DBA - including Enterprise Cluster / HA management
• 3+ years My SQL Experience including managing high volume/high availability environments
• Database Performance and optimisation
• Data Migration experience
• Strong query performance and optimisation experience
• Data security experience
• Strong SQL skills
• SQL Server always-on / high availability
