The Senior Engineering Manager Role

As we scale, we're looking for our first management hire in engineering: a Senior Engineering Manager who will play a key role in shaping the future of our team and products. Your mission is to build a world-class team, collaborate on product strategies with key stakeholders, and execute a technical roadmap to meet our ambitious goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

Planning

• Partner with Product and Design teams to define product specifications and concepts.
• Build and maintain a product roadmap that ensures we achieve our business and product goals.

Resourcing

• Determine headcount needs and lead recruitment efforts to grow the team.
• Build a high-performance, high-velocity, and highly autonomous engineering team.

Management

• Understand the strengths and weaknesses of individual team members.
• Develop and grow engineers to maximize their potential.
• Lead performance reviews and, when necessary, have hard but constructive conversations.

Delivery

• Collaborate across departments to ensure projects stay on track.
• Proactively unblock the team and ensure delivery of commitments.

Innovation

• Foster a culture of innovation and continuously push the technical boundaries of our platform.
