* Position Summary:
- The Gaming Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing gaming machines, equipment, and systems to ensure they operate efficiently and comply with regulations. This role involves providing technical support during gaming operations, performing routine maintenance, and responding to equipment malfunctions quickly to minimize downtime.
* Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform installation, setup, and configuration of gaming machines and equipment.
+ Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of gaming systems to ensure optimal functionality.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with gaming machines, equipment, and software.
+ Repair or replace defective components to restore equipment to full working order.
+ Respond promptly to technical support requests during gaming operations.
+ Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance.
+ Ensure gaming machines and systems comply with regulatory standards and security requirements.
+ Assist with system updates, including hardware and software upgrades.
+ Collaborate with the Assistant Technical Manager to identify and implement process improvements.
+ Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring that essential resources are available for repairs.
+ Assist in training new staff on basic troubleshooting and operation of gaming equipment.
+ Provide excellent customer service by addressing player complaints related to gaming equipment issues.
* KEY FUNCTIONS
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair
+ Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance for gaming machines.
+ Repair defective equipment and ensure gaming systems are operating at optimal performance.
+ Technical Support
+ Provide on-the-spot troubleshooting and technical assistance during gaming operations.
+ Escalate major technical issues to the Assistant Technical Manager as needed.
- Compliance and Security
+ Ensure all gaming machines meet regulatory standards and are secure from unauthorized access.
+ Conduct regular checks to confirm compliance with gaming regulations.
- Reporting and Documentation
+ Maintain records of all maintenance, repairs, and system updates.
+ Assist in preparing reports on equipment performance and technical issues for management review.
Yêu cầu
* Requirement:
- Diploma or certification in electronics, IT, or a related technical field.
- 1-3 years of experience in technical support, maintenance, or repair of electronic equipment, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of gaming machines, systems, and technical troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of networking, hardware components, and software updates.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced gaming environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for gaming equipment.
