JOB DUTIES
Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
Write clean, scalable and efficient code
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Aligns with the latest platform improvements to leverage the latest methods and technologies to continuously improve the service of the platform to customers
Communicate, engage to manage multiple levels of stakeholders when required during incident and change processes
Engage stakeholders both internal and external to Amplify Health, and multiple vendors effectively
Express complex issues and opportunities in clear and simple terms
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in Computer Science/Information Technology
4+ years' experience in developing Java Backend applications.
Sound interpersonal, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Java programming language and related frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate and JDBC.
Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server, JMS and EJB is an advantage.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
Experience with messaging systems such as TIBCO EMS and Apache Kafka
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or CosmosDB.
Extensive experience with SOAP and RESTful API development.
Basic knowledge on Linux command shell
Exposure to Application Monitoring tools like Dynatrace and ELK.
Experience with communicating to senior stakeholders and high-pressure environments
Understanding of cloud architecture and security best practices.
