THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a sophisticated, well-connected and commercially driven Fine Art & Private Collection Advisor to represent and develop KMC ASIATM's fine art advisory network in Vietnam.
The successful candidate will play a strategic role in connecting distinguished Vietnamese artists, established galleries, private collectors, UHNW individuals and family offices with regional and international art opportunities.
This position is ideal for a professional who possesses a genuine passion for fine art, strong relationships within Vietnam's cultural and luxury ecosystem, and the ability to develop trusted, long-term relationships with discerning private clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fine Art & Private Collection Advisory
Advise private collectors and UHNW clients on fine art acquisitions, collection development and potential divestments.
Identify distinguished emerging, mid-career and established Vietnamese artists with regional and international market potential.
Coordinate artwork research, provenance verification, authenticity assessment and independent valuations.
Facilitate private art transactions, gallery collaborations and collector introductions.
UHNW & Family Office Relationship Development
Build and maintain trusted relationships with affluent collectors, family offices, entrepreneurs and private wealth networks.
Introduce bespoke fine art and collection advisory services to qualified private clients.
Identify opportunities for art collecting, intergenerational collection planning and cultural philanthropy.
Position KMC ASIATM as a trusted regional relationship platform for fine art and private collections.
Strategic Partnerships & Market Expansion
Establish relationships with leading Vietnamese galleries, artists, auction houses, curators, museums and cultural institutions.
Develop cross-border collaboration opportunities between Vietnam, Singapore and other international art markets.
Support exclusive art exhibitions, collector gatherings, private viewings and invitation-only cultural events.
Identify strategic opportunities to expand KMC ASIATM's fine art advisory activities in Vietnam.
Art Market Intelligence & Commercial Development
Monitor Vietnamese and international art market developments, artist recognition, auction performance and collector demand.
Prepare professional artist profiles, artwork presentations, market assessments and acquisition proposals.
Develop qualified client pipelines and facilitate commercially viable advisory mandates.
Support transaction coordination with appropriate legal, valuation, logistics, insurance and compliance specialists.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
We welcome applications from professionals with backgrounds in fine art advisory, galleries, auction houses, private banking, luxury client relationships and art-related
business development.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in fine art, private collections, luxury advisory or UHNW relationship management.
Strong understanding of Vietnam's contemporary and modern art ecosystem.
Established relationships with artists, galleries, collectors and affluent private clients.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and business development capabilities.
Strong appreciation of confidentiality, discretion, professional ethics and cultural sensitivity.
Fluency in Vietnamese and professional proficiency in English; Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with KMC ASIATM's Singapore-based regional network.
A strong professional network, commercial credibility and relationship-building capabilities will be highly valued.
