Senior Political Officer - Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

Applicants should have demonstrated knowledge of Vietnam's domestic political environment with at least three years' relevant work experience, strong interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with senior government representatives and agencies and engage in policy dialogue and negotiation on complex issues and a well-developed understanding of Vietnam's politics. Tertiary qualifications in international relations, human rights, political science, or a related field with demonstrated experience in program management and compliance with financial processes is desirable.
The successful applicant will be offered an initial contract for a 12-month period with an option to renew the contract for another 12 months or Ongoing/Permanent Employment. The Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 47,022,339 to VND 52,924,057, depending on skills and experience.
