Senior Production Manager

Coherent Corp. established its presence in Vietnam in 2005 with the launch of its first legal entity, II-VI Vietnam, in VSIP1 Industrial Park, Thuan An, Binh Duong. Since then, the company has expanded to include three additional legal entities across southern and northern Vietnam, offering a diverse portfolio of products and services spanning its three core business segments: Materials, Networking, and Lasers.
As a key contributor to Coherent Corp.'s global manufacturing and engineering operations, we utilize advanced technologies and expertise to produce high-tech products, including thermoelectric coolers, engineered ceramics, semiconductor wafers, advanced optics, and laser field services, serving industrial, communications, electronics, and instrumentation markets. Currently, Coherent Corp. employs over 2,000 people across Binh Duong (VSIP1 IP), Dong Nai (Nhon Trach 1 IP), Hanoi, and Bac Ninh (Yen Phong IP). This position is responsible for production and documentation, method analysis/ improvements, machines layout and equipment acquisition, preparation of equipment justification and appropriation request development, statistical process control systems, providing analytical troubleshooting leadership, hands-on to involve process and production activity is must.
1. Production Management
• Quality products in plan produced with the most cost efficiency, including but not limit.
• Manage and deploy resources (human, machineries, materials, energy) efficiently to meet the production schedule.
• Deliver products/services committed to the internal or external customers at the right time, cost, quality, and responsiveness to support their plans.
• Leadership responsibility for strategic and tactical manufacturing planning, quality improvement, cost reductions, productivity, and process improvements, equipment and automation development and growth and profitability.
2. Quality Control & Production Support
• Compliance to quality control plan, system from end-to-end process to ensure product quality meet customer requirement
• Investigate to support responding quickly and accurately, effectively to customers
3. Supervision, Management and Leadership
• Ensure your team is staffed, motivated, inspired, engaged, and empowered to deliver a high and sustainable performance level in an ever-changing environment at a cost level the organization can sustain and reflects market realities.
• Ensure you have the right people in the right jobs, by consistently using proper interview and selection techniques and methodologies throughout your organization.
