Senior Program Manager Insurance

We are looking for a driven Program Manager (Insurance) in Hanoi to step into a leadership role at EPAM Vietnam. You will be the one who implements the Core Transformation Program and supervises multiple project teams with the only mission to reach the program goals and objectives.

What You'll Do

• Manage a program of multiple projects within the same domain, set up new projects and control the execution of an overall program
• Run multiple delivery streams and clients, to ensure governance at the top management level and conduct governance project meetings and identify successful and unsuccessful project factors and gaps
• Coordinate with multi-disciplined teams of project managers, product owners, architects, engineers, and quality assurance to drive delivery plans and retrospectives
• Act as an experienced technology partner who can suggest innovative solutions to business/ process-based problems that leverage technology to provide differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences
• Work closely with the project sponsor, vendor and outsourcing resources to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, and work plan for each project in the program
• Develop and manage the budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
• Work with other program/project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders

What You Have

• Have more than 8 years of experience in project management and at least 2 years in program management
• Must have experience working in the insurance and finance industry
• Experience in management of 50-100+ people projects with multiple streams or programs
• Proven experience in driving large-scale transformational initiatives, ideally initiatives in large enterprises impacting both organizational and technological components of an organization
• Experience managing and mentoring teams of Project Managers
• Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills are necessary
• Have exceptional organization, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of Agile software development processes
• Outstanding knowledge of change management principles
• Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher level of spoken and written English

Nice to have

• Experience with working with multiple project teams
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree, MBA or equivalent business experience
• PMP, PgMP Certifications
