Senior Project Accountant

1.IN-CHARGED TASKS
• The Senior Project Accountant has the role as Finance Business Analyst for Finance Systems ("FBA") works directly with Finance heads in the Units ("OUCRU Hochiminh, OUCRU Hanoi, EOCRU and OUCRU Nepal") and other Departments/Groups/ Stakeholders of the Units (IT, Procurement, Travel, CTU, Asset and Inventory...) to understand, document and prioritise strategic business requirements to build the accounting and finanical reportings for the new finance system(s).
• The FBA is responsible for ensuring the Units' business requirements are met by the new Finance system, closely working with Heads of Finance, in-house IT teams and the System Delivery Partner.
• The FBA is responsible for undertaking analysis of the current payment process (cash out first then record in the system) to revised invoice or payment request entered into the system then payment made and also an indepth review.
• The FBA is responsible for leading a revision of the chart of accounts and secondary coding with consultation with all financial accounting staff and other stakeholders.
• The FBA is the lead to co-ordinate on the Units financial accounting workstream under the consultancy of Finance heads in the Units and ensure delivery efficiently and effectively of outputs to the timetable agreed.
2. REPORTING TASKS
• Working closely with Programme-wide Project Manager (PPM) and the Delivery Partner to produce FSIB Progress reports and papers.
• Reporting directly to CFO as required.
3.OTHER TASKS
• Arranging and faciliting meetings.
• Drafting documents and action points in the meetings.
• Monitoring and keep track the task progression of relavent stakeholders.
• Training the users when the system go-lives.
• Develop the professional business relationships with OUCRU colleagues and Delivery Partner.
