- Lead the upstream processes of software projects, including Requirements Definition, Basic Design, and Detailed Design.
- Work directly with Japanese clients to elicit, gather, and analyze system requirements or business needs.
- Translate client business requirements into detailed technical specifications in Japanese (UI/UX designs, database schemas, Sequence Diagrams, data flows, etc.).
- Accurately convey system requirements to the development team in Vietnam; manage the Q&A process and oversee project quality and progress.
- Willingness to undertake short-term business trips to Japan to collaborate directly and finalize requirements with clients during critical project phases.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years in upstream processes (requirements definition, basic/detailed design) for software projects.
- Strong technical background (prior experience as a
Developer is highly preferred) to effectively understand system architecture and consult on technical solutions.
- Proficiency with technical diagramming tools (UML, ERD, Sequence Diagrams, etc.) and composing technical documentation in Japanese.
- Japanese proficiency (N2 level or above) with fluent communication skills and the ability to negotiate, persuade, and explain complex technical concepts directly to Japanese clients.
- Excellent logical thinking, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
- Eligibility and readiness for short-term business trips to Japan (good health, valid passport, and a professional Japanese working style).
