The Job
A. JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Specialist will be responsible for the daily operation and troubleshooting of company applications, including analyzing issues, coordinating with vendors and the regional project team on application requests, and providing user support.
B. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Application Operations
- Operate, ensure the company applications to operate stably and continuously.
- Troubleshooting and analyzing matters relate to application, database (MS SQL, DB2, Informix)
- Communicate with application vendors to resolve issues
- Participate in the analysis and development of information technology projects;
- Deployment, training in the use of new software systems, compiling documents.
- System administration and operating software support on platforms Windows, Linux.
2. IT Project
- Communicate and implement project initiated by Regional Project
- Install new project servers (Windows, Linux, MS SQL)
- Deployment and operations new systems upon request
3. Compliance to Incident Management and Change Management
a. Incident Management:
- Ensure all incidents are raised and reported properly
- Proper solution is implemented and documentation
b. Change Management:
- Ensure changes are raised and documented follow Change Management process
- Ensure changes of critical systems are tested via phases SIT, UAT prior to implementing to Production
- Ensure team members understand their roles and execute correctly
- Working closely with Product & Delivery Team, and vendors to ensure changes are met Business expectations.
- Work with Business to identify, advise and enhance the implementation of change.
4. IT Support
- Manage IT User request
- Receive user requests, keep track and support
5. Others
All other tasks/duty assigned by Head of IT
Your Skills and Experience
1. Qualifications:
- University degree in Information Technology or equivalent education and experience
- At least 05 years of experience in similar position at a Securities/Finance Company
- Ability to write Bash script, Python and having skill in DevOps is preferred
- Certification of CCNP, MCSE is an advantage
2. Competencies:
- Knowledge of one of the data management systems: MS SQL, DB2, Informix...
- Basic knowledge of networks and operating systems
- Having knowledge in securities, finance is an advantage
- Good communication skills, able to work independently or in a team
- Passionate about researching new technologies
- Diligent and careful
