Mô tả công việc
Main Purpose:
• To understand the product standards and requirements during commercialization.
• To approve all incoming leathers.
• To approve other materials and components when factory highlights issues.
• To monitor the process to maintain the Brand standards.
• To inspect a percentage of all finished orders and ensure they meet the Brands expectations.
• To do a comparative fit on adult shoes.
• To maintain records and reports relating to the above and issue to relevant person's.
• To work with the factory to resolve any issues.
• To be aware of what orders are due to be shipped and of any issues likely to delay orders.
Core Accountabilities:
• To ensure the commercialization meetings held in Vietnam are conducted professionally in order to maximise the effectiveness of the Clarks Development technicians.
• Attend commercialization meetings with Technicians, Factory and production to ensure that any issues which arise from these meetings are followed up once the shoes go to production.
• Make sure all leathers arriving meet Clark's standards.
• Make commercial decisions on any materials and components where the factory is unsure.
• Check production lines to make sure methods and settings are to Clark's standards.
• Check product at the end of each assembly line to ensure they match confirmation shoes.
• Check lab testing results daily to ensure correct action is taken.
• Attend daily fit test on adult products.
• Inspect all finished orders.
• Work towards eliminating the need for re-control and reducing the requirement to inspect all orders.
• All first bulk work is checked to ensure any issues from commercialization meetings have been addressed and shoes are made to spec.
• After the factory has sorted every delivery of leather and done specified checks. Ensure that the leather is commercially acceptable against the supplied standards for Article, Colour, Substance and Laboratory testing. Inform line Manager and QC Manager of any rejected leather.
• On components and materials where the factory feels they do not meet the Clark's standards. Check them against Development provided standards where not commercial refer them to line Manager.
• Everyday (Unless inspection requirements prevent) check each assembly line ensuring that Clark's approved methods, temperature settings and Dwell times are correct using the supplied process check sheets. Fill in and file the process check sheets by line. Twice weekly carry out the same task in Cutting, Stitching and stock fitting areas. Work with the line supervisor and factory QC department to resolve any issues. Inform line Manager of any serious issues requiring production to be stopped.
• Each day observe factory fitting procedure ensuring each style from previous day's production has been fitted and that the fitting method is correct. Ensure shoes are a pass when assessed against the benchmark fitting shoe provided by development. Record and file fit test results, copy Line manager and QC Manager of any issues.
• 5% of all completed orders are to be inspected following Clarks' inspection method. They are inspected against the confirmation shoe to an internalized commercial standard, if 5% reject then further 5% checked, and again if 5% shoes rejected for re-control. During inspection every carton label, box end label, and labels and tags on shoes should be observed to ensure they are correct. One carton of each size is checked to ensure compliance with UK warehouse requirements. Record and file inspection details, copy to Line Manager, QC Manager and UK warehouse QC Manager. Inform immediately line manager and QC manager any serious issues. Some markets such as Japan will require 100% inspection.
• On going improvement in the above procedures should lead to increased confidence in allowing some orders to ship without inspection.

• Several years experience within a shoe factory environment.
• Several years hands on Quality processes / systems experience either at factory or QC function level.
• Good understanding of shoes quality system and shoes production.
