Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software
Tester role based in Hanoi.
The Software
Tester will design, execute, and document test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. Daily activities include reviewing requirements, preparing test plans, performing manual and automated test execution, logging defects, and tracking issues to resolution in collaboration with development and product teams. The role involves analyzing test results, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
The Software
Tester will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that releases meet quality expectations, user needs, and project timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Test Execution skills to validate features and identify defects effectively.
Candidates should possess solid Quality Assurance and Test Cases skills to design, maintain, and improve structured test scenarios and documentation.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, analyze root causes, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
Relevant experience with manual and basic automated testing tools, defect tracking systems, and test management platforms.
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and release management practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with
developers,
product owners, and business stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset, proactive problem-solving approach, and commitment to consistent, high-quality delivery.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience testing web or enterprise applications and familiarity with basic security and performance testing concepts is an advantage.
