Your mission is to serve as the main technical expert and sales accelerator within a fast-paced, partner-led Cloud ecosystem. Working as the technical specialist within a collaborative sales team, you will support partners and internal sales reps to achieve the "Technical Win." You will step into complex deals to remove architectural blockers, validate customer requirements, and design scalable Cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Engineering & Technical Validation: Evaluate complex corporate infrastructure environments to translate business requirements into scalable, future-state Cloud blueprints. Conduct rigorous technical assessments during core solution cycles to resolve design bottlenecks and accelerate deal progression toward formal proposal stages.
Ecosystem Empowerment & Specialized Consulting: Act as the primary technical consultant for third-party channel networks, equipping external partners with the specialized knowledge required to address deployment hurdles independently. Lead technical whiteboard sessions, deliver customized solution briefings, and build hands-on product prototypes across targeted disciplines (Core Infrastructure, Data Analytics, or Workplace Systems + AI).
Cross-Functional POD Architecture: Align with frontline development and solution sales counterparts (BDRs, DSRs, and Field Sales) to step into high-priority pipeline opportunities. Operate as the technical specialist called upon to eliminate complex system roadblocks and present unified, authoritative technical solutions to enterprise buyers.
Technical Asset Synthesis & Governance: Gather fragmented documentation across various internal systems to generate accurate, tailor-made deployment plans and solution artifacts. Ensure strict execution standards by comprehensively documenting architectural confirmations and technical milestone proofs within Salesforce (SFDC).
Education and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Certifications: Must hold a professional-level Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect) or a specialized track certification (e.g., Data, Security, DevOps, or Workspace Administration).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a
technical sales engineer or in a customer-facing systems engineering role within a Cloud computing environment.
Core Competencies and Skills:
Cloud Infrastructure Mastery: Advanced technical expertise in IaaS, PaaS, and distributed processing environments (Big Data frameworks), complemented by a strong foundational command of enterprise networking protocols, network security controls, and web-tier application technologies.
Partner-Centric Mentality & Enablement: Exceptional ability to educate, guide, and champion third-party channel entities, ensuring external technical resources are capable of leading client discussions without direct supervision.
Analytical Rigor & Operational Discipline: Strong operational focus on maintaining deal velocity metrics, adhering to response-time performance agreements, and ensuring flawless system data entry for technical milestones.
Adaptive Learning & Consultative Communication: Fluent in English and the target market language, with the technical communication skills required to present complex engineering concepts simply to executive buyers. Highly agile learning style with a proven capability to rapidly prototype and master evolving Cloud capabilities and enterprise AI platforms.
