OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
- Drive the execution of strategic marketing initiatives to deliver sustainable growth, market share expansion, and product adoption in Vietnam for Fruit crops.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Technical, Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory, and Regional Marketing) to ensure effective campaign execution in alignment with country and regional business objectives.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES
1. Crop Strategy & Marketing Planning:
a. Develop and execute integrated crop marketing strategies, including new product launches, to achieve annual sales, market share, and profitability targets in the fruit crops segment.
b. Translate regional strategy into Vietnam-specific crop plans, reflecting local grower needs and market dynamics.
2. Market Insight & Strategic Planning:
a. Generate actionable insights from market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
b. Develop differentiated value propositions and positioning for BASF solutions tailored to key Fruit crops.
c. Identify growth opportunities and support portfolio/lifecycle decisions.
d. Provide market insights to regional crop teams and contribute to regional strategy development.
3. End-to-End Campaign Execution
a. Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns to drive product adoption and demand generation.
b. Define and track KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
c. Monitor campaign performance and implement continuous improvement actions based on insights.
d. Prepare regular performance reports and recommendations for management review.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration for Commercial Success:
a. Partner with Sales, Technical Services,
Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to ensure effective implementation of crop strategies.
b. Align campaign plans with sales priorities and support field teams with tools, training, and insights.
c. Share best practices and drive consistent execution across regions.
5. Portfolio & Profitability Management
a. Support budgeting and financial planning for the fruit crops segment.
b. Contribute to pricing strategy and portfolio optimization to maximize gross margin.
c. Monitor product performance and support lifecycle management.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or Business/Marketing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural marketing, product management, or
business development- Experience in marketing planning, campaign execution, and product lifecycle management
- Experience in fruit crops and/or crop protection industry is highly preferred
- Exposure to field sales or technical roles is an advantage
- Strong understanding of agricultural market dynamics and farmer behavior in Vietnam
- Analytical thinking with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Good communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
