Sr. Database Administrator - DBA MS-SQL, System Admin

In this role you will:

• Provide support for complex MS-SQL database systems (2014+) in a failover cluster operation within an on-premises data center.
• Implement and further develop automated processes and reports using T-SQL scripting, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Optimize T-SQL statements and refine database structures to enhance performance for existing Stored Procedures.
• Manage release processes for MS-SQL databases (2014+), ensuring smooth and timely deployment.
• Advise and support system and application development teams on logical design, database technology, and database operation best practices.
• Develop and enhance reporting and analytics strategies, contributing to the organization's data-driven decision-making.

• Significant experience in the administration of MS-SQL databases, particularly in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of partitioning in MS-SQL databases and experience with its implementation.
• Familiarity with Windows Server Tools and Dashboards, with experience working in Windows Server environments (from 2012).
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving and a high level of comprehension.
• Very good knowledge of T-SQL, with experience in optimizing and automating database processes.
• Proficient in English, with strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with failover clustering and high-availability strategies.
• Familiarity with data center operations and on-premises infrastructure management.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS for automation and reporting purposes.
