Team Description:
• Strategic Planning is a department at LOTTE focused on driving strategic planning and strategic initiatives.
• High exposure to General Manager/Director/BOD and various
business leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
BUSINESS PLANNING
• Lead the annual strategic planning process for Vietnam working with BOD and other Department Heads to create a single robust, comprehensive and ambitious plan for achieving the strategic goals of our company.
• Establish a robust mechanism for assessing performance against the strategic plan, managing risks to ensure optimal resource allocation to ensure the execution of the plan.
• Work with the Business Unit leads throughout the year - particularly during the planning and forecasting process - ensuring all plans are informed by robust trend analysis, customer understanding and market dynamics.
• Develop and drive KPIs that accurately reflect the business
• Planning Business Operation Budget and monthly & quarterly P&L reporting, monthly progress reporting on all strategy & business transformation initiatives, KPI reporting.
• Tracking budget usage and conduct measures to ensure budget within approval.
NEW BIZ DEVELOPMENT:
• Market research: Conduct market research to understand trends, customer preference and competitor benchmarking
• Biz model Design: Define strategic positioning, and unique selling points for the new Biz
• Investment feasibility check: Conduct financial simulation in order to realize the feasibility of investment
• PMO: Collaborate with other departments in order to develop and launch the new biz of the company.
STRATEGIC INITIATIVE MANAGEMENT:
• Responsible for identifying an area of opportunity within a company and implementing processes/initiaives to change performance for the better.
• Overseeing all aspects of the company, implementing any procedural change necessary, and improving how the people in the company perform through measurable improvements.
• Use data-driven solutions to address factors affecting ability to reach strategic objectives by propose and implement change initiatives to Transformation Business & PI (Process/ Organization, System, Performance Improvement)
