Business Development ManagerBased in Hanoi
Main Role & Responsibilities:
1. Overall governance
• Understand SBD-related work processes to subordinates, in order to ensure work practices are aligned with, Department work processes
• Propose and gain approval on work processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
2. Function-related accountabilities
• Strategic Planning and KPI Establishment and Monitoring:
o To perform activities for data gathering and external environment analysis including macroeconomics, mega and industry trends and competitive benchmarking in order to monitor opportunities and threats to the company
o To perform activities for data gathering and internal analysis of company's strengths and weaknesses
o Assist in Monitoring of Strategic Initiatives/KPI to ensure timely execution and/or corrective actions
• Strategic Deals - Perform Strategic Business Development (Organic and Inorganic) activities in line with the Corporate Strategy
o To perform activities for feasibility studies: financial modeling, market and competitive landscape analysis
o Execute process according to timeline for Strategic Deals including liaising with relevant advisors / stakeholders
o To perform activities for preparations for Management/ Executive Committee/ Board of Directors
• Knowledge Management:
o To perform activities for data gathering / research on relevant topics, analysis of trends, do presentations, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
o To perform activities for ad-hoc financial analysis, or macro/industry/company analysis, do presentations, to advise and support WHA Group's business hubs
3. Other accountabilities
• Guide, assist junior members in performing their tasks to ensure understanding and ability to perform tasks and accuracy of work conducted
• Engage in regular meetings/ updates with team members
• Identify/ respond appropriately to issues, in order to ensure that each issue is efficiently dealt with or escalated to a superior level properly
• Respond to instructions to undertake specific tasks to assist senior members in the completion of projects or assignments
• Be accountable for other certain works as assigned from immediate superior level
