Supplier Quality Supervisor (Iqc/sqc)

Job Summary
Quality Lead (IQC/SQC) is responsible for driving supplier quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with company standards, and leading continuous improvement activities. This role works closely with suppliers and internal teams to support supplier qualification, product quality, and new product introduction.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Quality Management
Lead supplier qualification process based on company requirements
Conduct supplier audits (annual and ad-hoc) and follow up improvement action plans
Train suppliers on company systems, quality standards, and requirements
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality expectations
Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement
Lead meetings with suppliers to resolve technical issues related to materials, parts, and components
Perform root cause analysis and verify CAPA implementation for supplier quality issues
Track and close all supplier CAPA in a timely manner
Apply quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, PDCA, 8D, and other continuous improvement methodologies
Supplier Development
Drive supplier development initiatives to ensure best practices and industry standards are implemented
Assess supplier manufacturing capabilities for approval and improvement
New Product Introduction (NPI)
Support new product launches by establishing control plans and conducting first article inspections
Work with PD and RD teams to define process parameters and ensure supplier capability meets requirements
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain non-conformance records and supplier CAPA tracking logs
Manage supplier claims and compensation tracking reports
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of supplier quality performance
