Technical Services & EHS Manager

British American Tobacco Vietnam has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Services & EHS Manager.
Purpose Of The Role
• To lead the Technical Services, Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S), Security and Sustainability agenda across manufacturing site, ensuring safe, compliant, sustainable and reliable manufacturing operations.
• The role is accountable for:
- Providing uninterrupted utilities and site services to manufacturing operations.
- Driving EH&S excellence and Zero Harm culture.
- Leading Security governance and asset protection.
- Delivering ESG and sustainability commitments.
- Embedding IWS principles and Zero Loss approach.
- Maintaining compliance with legal, BAT and corporate governance requirements.
- Building organizational capability to support long-term manufacturing competitiveness and operational excellence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Business
• Lead Technical Services, EH&S, Security and Sustainability functions across the manufacturing site to ensure safe, compliant, reliable and sustainable operations.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply and optimal performance of factory utilities, including power, steam, compressed air, vacuum, water, HVAC and infrastructure services.
• Drive world-class Environment, Health & Safety performance through deployment of risk management, incident elimination and behavioral safety programs.
• Own site Security governance, asset protection, emergency preparedness and business continuity requirements.
• Lead the factory ESG agenda, including energy efficiency, water stewardship, carbon reduction, waste elimination and sustainability improvement programs.
• Serve as the site EH&S Pillar Leader, embedding Zero Loss principles, continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory and BAT requirements, while maintaining a strong controls and risk management culture.
• Lead internal and external audits, control self-assessments and compliance reviews, ensuring timely closure of identified gaps.
• Manage Technical Services and Utilities budgets, capital investments, asset reliability and spare parts optimization.
People
• Build organizational capability through coaching, talent development and multi-functional collaboration to strengthen technical, EH&S and sustainability performance.
• Partner closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and HR teams to deliver factory Compelling Business Needs (CBN) and long-term Site Master Plan objectives.
• Foster One Ops spirit and ensure governance compliance.
• Promote innovation in site services and EHS practices.
