Technical Writer

The Role & Its Objectives

If yes, join ShareRing, an exciting and fast growing company which is seeking a Technical Writer who will be essential to the efficiency and continuity of our intellectual creative and development processes. The Technical Writer is accountable for the creation and maintenance of high-quality technical documentation that empower developers building on the ShareRing platform, make our product more relatable and useful to our users, while fulfilling accreditation requirements in our IP creation and preservation processes.

Open to candidates who are based in AU, UK, Dubai, HK, Vietnam or Thailand

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality technical documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience, including but not limited to
  • Software documentation for our development team (and our development community):
    • Developer guides
    • Code diagrams
    • Workflow diagrams
    • System diagrams
    • API documentation/references
  • User facing documentation to educate general public about our platform and related web3 concepts:
    • User interface text
    • User manuals
    • Online help articles
    • Tutorials for end-users
    • FAQs
  • Compliance documentations required in audit processes
    • Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Audit and review existing and potential content, focusing on improvement, reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Create and maintain the information architecture
• Propose and implement standardized workflow to ensure timeliness and accuracy of documentation updates and creations

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines
• Proven ability to quickly grasp and thoroughly understand complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in non-technical languages
• Excellent written skills in English
• Familiarity with the SDLC and software development
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Solid grip on documentation publishing software such as Confluence, .markdown files (used in Bitbucket), wiki, SnagIt, [protected info] and other software
• Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines
• Experience in blockchain/web3 products or services will be a plus
