Communication Intern for the SDGs and Innovation Program

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Social Media Management and Content Creation:
Create engaging and informative posts about Social Open Innovation for the SDGI program's fanpage and website in both English and Vietnamese;
Design visually appealing posts for social media platforms using basic graphic design tools;
Monitor and respond to social media inquiries and comments;
Work closely with the SDGI Program Officer and MSD's Communications team to develop a comprehensive social media strategy for the fanpage;
Assist in analyzing social media metrics to assess the performance of posts and provide insights and suggestions for improvement based on analysis.
2. Press Release Assistance
Collaborate with the Communications team and SDGI program team to draft press releases for events, milestones, and program updates;
Assist in media outreach and distribution of press materials.
3. Photography
Assist in capturing high-quality photos during small-scale events, workshops, and other program activities when required.
4. Podcast Production
Develop podcast scripts in alignment with the SDGI program's messages and goals, revolving around the topic of "Equality and Promotion of Inclusive Participation in SDGs";
Assist in recording and reviewing podcast episodes, ensuring high audio and image quality.
REQUIREMENTS
· Graduated or final year of bachelor studies, in social science, communications, marketing, journalism, or related field;
· Proficiency in graphic design tools for creating visually appealing content;
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese;
· Strategic thinking and analysis;
· Strong MS Office proficiency;
· Interest in podcast production, including scripting, recording, and editing;
· Familiarity with social media and trends;
· Basic photography skills and familiarity with photo editing software is a plus;
· Ability to work independently and professionally; good teamwork skills;
· High commitment to work with the ability to commit for at least 6 months

JOB DESCRIPTION
As an SDGI Project Intern at MSD, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects and programs throughout their life cycles. Your main assignments for 2024 will include, but are not limited to:
1. Leave No One Behind Partnership (LNOB Vietnam:
Assist the LNOB's Secretariat in organizing Bi-monthly Partnership meetings;
Contribute to the implementation of Partnership activities/events, emphasizing SDGs;
Promote citizen-generated data initiatives within the LNOB Partnership.
2. Shinhan Square Bridge Vietnam Program
Assist the SDGI Program Officer/Manager in coordinating start-ups and partner CSOs;
Support the creation of social impacts for marginalized populations in Vietnam;
Assist in executing various activities related to the Shinhan Square Bridge program.
3. Research
Assist in conducting data analysis and research focused on different fields of study, including but not limited to SDGs;
Assist in documenting research findings and insights.
4. Event Organization
Assist in organizing events at MSD following the protocal, ensuring their smooth execution;
Document event proceedings and report for future reference.
5. Stakeholder Liaison
Liaise with various stakeholders to maintain effective communication;
Contribute to building and nurturing partnerships with external collaborators;
Assist in ensuring a strong network and positive relationships with key stakeholders.
6. Documentation and Updates
Document project details, meetings, and outcomes effectively;
Provide regular updates and communications for assigned projects;
Support the creation of comprehensive project reports as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
· Graduated or final year of bachelor studies, in social science, management, communication, social works, or related fields;
· Experience with research activities and data analysis is plus;
· High command of communication and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English;
· Strategic thinking and analysis;
· Strong MS Office proficiency;
· Ability to work independently and professionally, good team work skills;
· High commitment to work with the ability to commit for 6 months.
