AmCham seeks Vietnamese university students or recent graduates who are eager, highly motivated, and interested in learning new skills.
Our interns substantially contribute to the lasting success of AmCham. We offer hands-on experience in an international business environment, and our interns enjoy a broad range of experiences while working at AmCham. AmCham maintains the highest standards, and we expect the professional and personal conduct of each intern to reflect AmCham's commitment to excellence.
Interns must have good communication skills and be computer literate. Interns are expected to work at AmCham from Monday to Friday for at least three months. As a non-profit organization, AmCham is not able to offer interns the monetary compensation they may be able to receive in the private sector. However, AmCham provides value in many other ways that are essential for someone aspiring to enter the business world. Plus, there is a possibility of turning this into a full-time, paid position.
Our hiring team prefers applicants with one or more of the following skills: graphic design and/or digital marketing, and sales/fundraising.
Responsibilities:
Assist the communication manager in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and digital advertising.
Create engaging content for social media platforms, blog posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
Support the planning and execution of events, including coordinating logistics, managing RSVPs, and assisting with on-site coordination.
Collaborate with the design team to develop visual assets for marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing efforts using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including maintaining databases, scheduling meetings, and organizing files.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in communication and marketing.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Fluent in Canva, Adobe Premier, video editing, and photography.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Willing to attend and help at events.
Previous experience in marketing, communications, or related fields is a plus but not required.
