Job Description
Homebase is looking for a talented candidate to join the team as a UI/UX Product Design Intern. The candidate will play a key role in the visual design of our products and brand identity, and work with core members of our high-performing team to perform the following responsibilities:
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, visual designs, prototypes for our products;
Write clear documentation to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas;
Analyze product requirements and product planning;
Collaborate and work cross-functionally with Design, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver high-quality products;
Work with the Marketing team to design marketing & branding materials for campaigns;
Present and explain visual designs to peers and stakeholders;
Conduct UX research to understand the users - our customers or internal users;
Conduct experiments to continuously improve the customer experience for our customer-facing products;
Make strategic user-experience decisions related to product functions and features.
Our Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have:
Commitment for at least 6 months in either part-time or full-time capacity;
Background in UI/UX Design or related role within a technology company;
Strong knowledge in wireframing, prototyping, user testing, interaction, and visual design;
Strong understanding of design fundamentals (color theory, typography, grid systems, layouts, icons, and interactivity);
Experience in design and prototype tools like Figma is preferred;
