ABOUT THE AUSTRALIAN MEAT SCHOOL (AMS)
The Australian Meat School is the first and only Australian standard vocational training school in Vietnam equipped with Response Group's certified 482 Assessment Services. Under the partnership between RGI and San Ha Company Limited, AMS provides training that meets Australia's high standards, preparing participants for immediate employment and long-term career growth within the VISA 482 framework.

Job Role
The Training Manager is responsible for identifying and assessing training needs, creating tailored training plans, and implementing various training methods to enhance the students' skills and performance. They monitor training program effectiveness, create and circulate student reports, manage budgets, and stay up to date on training options and requirements.

Context
- RGI is in the business of supporting the sustainable development of client organisations including the people who work in them. We do this through the delivery of Organisational Development support (OD) amongst other services.
- We use training and development as a primary (but not exclusive) intervention strategy including the provision of accredited training through our RTO's. We also deliver direct organisational support to clients as well as via trusted Joint Ventures partners. We are open to new ways to identify & deliver value to people, organisations & society.
- We provide support and services to clients across multiple industries and levels of work. As such our structure is about being clear on core work and will always include working closely with others across these
Role Purpose
Primarily project-based training and skills development of workers in either Vietnam, Australia and potentially the Philippines.
Core Work of the Role
What will this role be held accountable for?
- Attend the Australian Meat School each week and provide highly professional and effective training and assessment services to enrolled students at the Australian Meat School.
- Liaise with key partners to determine training needs and ensure appropriate training sessions are scheduled and delivered
- Daily requirements include:
o proactively working with trainees to improve their skills and knowledge levels; ensuring these are appropriately developed to ensure they address essential requirements for the Australian meat processing industry.
o Grow and extend the knowledge level of essential skills and processes applied in the trainee's work environment.
o Ensure training materials and content are current, accurate and effective and aligned with the Course Content outlined for the AMPC Ethical Labour Project.
- Maintain concise records of all training undertaken and copies of all relevant documentation are accurately completed e.g.
o Enrolment Forms.
o Attendance Sheets.
o Assessment Results Sheets.
o Completed Student Records of Assessment.
o Completed File Notes / Monitoring Form.
- Ensure Response Project Team is advised of any changes to or new training plans.
- Ensure training milestones and goals are achieved while adhering to approved training program and budget requirements where relevant.
- Maintain currency of qualifications and relevant industry experience

Pivotal (non reporting role) Relationships
- Project team for the AMPC Ethical Labour Corridor project
- Visiting trainers
Performance Parameters
- Demonstrate alignment with our culture and ethos (refer Our Purpose & Agreement).
- Demonstrate ethics and integrity in dealing with external and internal clients.
- Update student records on a weekly basis in the student tracker provided.
- Generate Weekly Progress Report / Update to Project Management Team for all enrolled students.
- Escalate details of any student not progressing as required to the Project Management Team. Details should also include proposed action to address the concerns identified.
o Participate and contribute to reviews of progress, outcomes and future improvements.
o Represent the organisation in an honest, ethical and professional way.
- Update project progress in Click up on a weekly basis
- Maintain student records to an auditable standard

Yêu cầu

Note:
- The Training Manager should be Australian or Vietnamese Australian in Vietnam - This role requires the Training Manager to be based in HCMC.
- The Training Manager should speak and write fluently in English, Vietnamese language skills are a bonus.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in associated discipline
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) (or ability to obtain)
- Up to date with technical knowledge of the Meat Industry Training package and roles that may be required (e.g. Boning)
SPECIALIZED JOB KNOWLEDGE / DEMONSTRATED ABILITY
- Full TAE Qualification is desirable but at least the Trainer Skill set must be obtained
- Experienced with beef and other species.
- Must hold a Boning Room and Ausmeat Certificate in large stock processing.
- Must be qualified in Meat Processing level 3 (Boning Room or Slaughtering).
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Reporting skills- Technical competency and compliance (auditable and legal).
- Demonstrated ability to use appropriate technology
- Leadership - the ability to provide technical support to students.
- Must have a knowledge of budgeting.
- Industry currency
- ⁠⁠Have had substantial time working in and for production in both a supervisory role and on the job role.
- ⁠⁠Open and clear communicator both verbally and written
- Sensitive to cultural differences and needs of individuals or a community.
- ⁠⁠Experience in project for industry specific matters
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to write proposals as needed.
- Abiliity Communicate and manage a team effectively.
- Problem solving / analytical skills - there will always be unexpected situations that arise
- Experience of living and working in South East Asia
