Job Description
- Collaborate on defining and executing the community engagement strategy with the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Develop and maintain an active, positive relationship with players in the community.
- Create programs to identify key influencers and stakeholders and convert them to community advocates.
- Build and maintain a calendar of content, events, and activities designed to keep players engaged with the product and franchise.
- Develop messaging plans that align with content calendars to ensure the growth and engagement goals across community channels are met, including follower count, engagement rate, the number of post-amplifications, amplification reach, etc.
- Create, in collaboration with internal artists and production teams, player-facing content such as guides, videos, and FAQs to help enhance and deepen the player experience.
- Coordinate communication with Ubisoft worldwide brands/ subsidiaries to relay content on multiple social media accounts.
- Give production all feedbacks from Communities that will help them optimize the game accordingly
- Devise and manage contests and other events, facilitating the fulfillment of prize delivery when needed.
- Communicate directly with the player base through community channels, and review/proof/copyedit outbound communications to ensure readability and alignment.
- Help stimulate and moderate player conversations across all community channels.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports capturing a snapshot of overall community sentiment
- Others: customer support system, social listening tool, and product suggestion.
Qualifications
As a must
- Outstanding copywriting skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to create quality documentation for internal and external audiences. Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, spelling and adjectives is a must.
- Bachelor degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Linguistics, Literature or equivalent
- Experience in marketing, communication, or journalism.
- Strong understanding of social media services, mechanics, and trends; especially Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit.
- Strong organizational skills and an independent, self-motivated work style.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, with distributed teams.
As a plus
- Previous experience with customer first-contact and de-escalation a plus.
- A passion for gaming. Experience in video games industry a significant plus.
