We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Academic Assistant to join our qualified
team of educators and mentors. As an Academic Assistant, you will be responsible for
providing teaching and administrative support to the Head of Test Prep to ensure a high
quality educational experience that fully meets the requirements of PAV. You should be a
competent professional with excellent English written and verbal communication skills and
the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Academic responsibilities
● Assist in all of Head of Test Prep's class activities: observe all classes, assist in
managing class lesson plans and materials, print and prepare learning
materials, manage student spreadsheets, manage Google Drive, etc.
● Be the point of contact between the Head of Test Prep and key members of
PAV, such as test prep teachers, production team, marketing team, and
administrative staff, about test prep guidance.
● Receive direction from the Head of Test Prep and carry out guidance with
teachers, designers, and staff members to create workbooks, online course
materials, student reports, marketing materials, etc.
2. Administration
● Manage emails and other forms of communication as the initial point of contact
and assist in follow-up responses.
● Organize meetings, manage calendar events, and take detailed notes of
discussions and meetings.
● In charge of following up on all tasks that were assigned by the Head of Test
Prep: duties and tasks that were assigned to teachers, course consultants and
students.
