Akila is building a highly skilled team at the intersection of Machine Learning, 3D Digital Twins, Large Language Models, Video Language Models, AI Agents, Physical AI, 3D Visualization and 3D Simulation. You will join this team, leveraging existing skills, learning new skills, exercising software excellence and innovation, while working on both short- and long-term initiatives. This role is right for you if you have experience or passion in one or more of these areas: Machine Learning, 3D Software Development, Realistic Graphics, Physical Simulation, BIM, Computer Vision, Robotics, etc. You must be comfortable working with a group of talented engineers who will do whatever is necessary to create the products our customers need.
Key Responsibilities:
3D Digital Twin Technologist:
Apply emerging technologies in 3D modeling, 3D graphics, vision, AI, physical simulation and analytics to develop new and improved features for Akila's customers.
Define and implement digital twin APIs, AI Agents, and tools, focusing on robustness, scalability, reusability and performance.
Collaborate with Akila software and digital engineering teams to integrate CAD-based models with real-world operational data.
Provide technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and API specifications, to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including product design, data analytics, and sustainability experts to ensure the digital twin meets market and decarbonization goals.
Translate technical requirements and simulation outcomes into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:
Validate simulation accuracy through rigorous testing and continuous performance tuning.
Document processes, maintain code quality, and contribute to the evolution of best practices in digital-twin software.

Yêu cầu
Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Computational Design, or a related field.
Strong software development skills, with expertise in languages like Python, C++, C# or JavaScript.
Excellent problem-solving skills with an innovation-driven mindset and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, micro-service design patterns and API integration in a SaaS environment.
Experienced with computational geometry algorithms such as convex hulls, Voronoi diagrams, Ray-Surface intersections, etc. Is a plus.
Experience developing interactive 3D graphic applications using WebGL, OpenGL or a framework such as [protected info] is a plus.
Experienced in writing shaders and implementing texture mapping for real-time rendering and visual effects is a plus.
Experience with OpenUSD (Universal Scene Description) and NVIDIA AI Software Technologies is a plus.
Experience with computer vision is a plus
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI/ML solutions into modeling workflows-experience with generative design or procedural modeling is a plus.
Experience in 3D Modeling software such as Blender, Autodesk Revit, Rhino, Sketchup, or similar platforms is a plus.
Team oriented, detailed oriented. Adaptable, resilient, and positive attitude.
Able to communicate in English.
