Mô tả công việc
Create complex shaders, VFX as well as 3D assets required for the project.
Develop new tools and techniques to optimize and improve the production pipelines.
Work closely with the VFX Team, 3D Team, and other departments and assist in quality review.
Principal Accountabilities:
Set up the lighting and post-processing in Unreal Engine including (AO, Fog, DoF, Antialiasing, Bloom, etc...).
Create high-quality VFX and shaders based on the art direction, technical constraint,s and deadlines.
Create scripts and tools with programming languages (C++, C#, HLSL, MaxScript).
Create technical documentation and pipelines and share them with the team.
Work closely with the R&D Team, and be the communication bridge between 3D Art team and Programmers to develop new tools and techniques required for the project.
Actively follow up the project by giving feedback, proposing quality improvements, and optimizing work processes.
Identify inefficiencies and pipeline issues then provide solutions and solve them.
Yêu cầu
Experience in working on published games is a strong advantage.
Academic background in arts, design or equivalent.
Good understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, shaders, lighting, VFX and post-effects.
Good understanding of different artistic styles and cultures.
Good knowledge in game development processes, pipelines, and limitations.
Skills:
Excellent skills with C++/Blueprint, C#, High-Level Shading Language (HLSL), and Python (MaxScript).
Excellent skills in 3dsmax, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Unreal, and Unity Engine.
Excellent skills in PBR materials and Node-based Shader creation.
Excellent skills in particle FX creation, lighting, and post-process.
Excellent skills in adapting to different stylistic guidelines and optimizing assets for real-time gaming.
Communicative English skills (spoken and written).
Creative and inventive, with strong problem-solving, organization, and self-management skills.
Be a team player with a strong commitment and passion for the project.
